Hello, beautiful people from across the lands. I just finished up my mini side hustle series and forgot to mention the one I’m on right now. That is my blog/Empire Hopeful Reality. I was hesitant to talk about it because as of today I made ZERO ZIP ZILCH money on it. This is definitely a learning curve for me as I am venturing down this particular path of entrepreneurship. I have other brands/ideas I let fall by the wayside. The others are in need of a revival but right now my focus is to grow this blog and vision.
Why Blogging?
I always love to tell stories even as a kid. Often times, I was the weird child at slumber parties making up stories while kids hung on to every word. I am a quiet and reserve person by nature but once I’m comfortable I can talk for days! It doesn’t matter who I’m on the phone with it’s an average hour conversation. I share that to say once I made up in my mind to become debt free I figured to tell the story along the way. This way it could be both therapeutic for myself and inspiring to others. Before I made the move to start a blog I became an consistent listener to a podcast on personal finance and starting side hustles.
Inspirational Blogging Story
There was one particular podcast on His & Her Money where the guest spoke about how she turned her $0 blog into a million dollar blog and she can’t even type! Don’t take my word for it go listen to the story on episode 45 yourself. After listening to that I did some research and stumbled across some great content creators who are doing the dang thang! It was inspiring and motivating and I figure hey I can do that, thus the birth of Hopeful Reality.
I am hoping with Project 104 I will gain the discipline needed to grow this current $0 blog into a multi-million dollar one. I hope my story flaws and all inspire folk to dust off their dreams and have another go at it. Failure is inevitable and can be the best teacher at times. I will keep telling my story because someone needs to hear. Until next time dream, believe and achieve.
