I know that is not you because you would not be reading this post if it was. There are so many affiliate programs that you can sign up and begin making money blogging. In this post, I’m going to share some very easy ones that can help you start to build an income from all your work!
1. Amazon associates
Have you ever bought something on Amazon? Better yet, have you ever recommended someone buy something from there? Did you know you can get paid for doing that?! Amazon Associates is an affiliate program that pays a commission every time someone makes a purchase from Amazon that you recommended. You will receive a 10% commission on qualifying items. Amazing as that is Amazon does have a 90-day timeline for when a purchase needs to be made through your referral link. If a purchase is not made by then you will be booted out of the program and will have to resubmit. Be sure to build your audience’s trust and traffic before signing up.
2. Share A Sale
This is another affiliate program that offers commission for products that you recommend. Share A Sale is a bit different from Amazon as the commission rates vary depending on the product you are recommending. Share A Sale has been around for two decades helping many bloggers like you and I monetize and generate extra income.
3. Blue Host
Blue Host is a web hosting servicing site that has provided over 2 million websites to businesses all over. If you are a blogger you will most likely have a Bluehost site. They have a great affiliate program that currently offers $65 per referral. This is another way to both empower others to get started on building their site and be rewarded for your efforts.
4. Creative Market Place
This website is a content creator’s saving grace! Creative Market Place provides a variety of digital templates that could be used for your blog, social media sites, podcast, and more. The templates are reasonably priced and beautiful. On top of that sharing this resource with other content creator’s you will receive a commission as an affiliate. As a Partner, you will earn a 10% commission from every sale connected to your referral link.
5. Rakuten
I covered the benefits of using Rakuten as a money-saving tool for your online shopping in this post here. Rakuten also has a great referral program where you can earn $25 for every referral you bring in. You do not need to be a content creator to enroll in this program but it is a great way for bloggers to make additional income. Sign up here!
6. CJ Affiliate
The CJ Affiliate is an established affiliate program that distributes millions of commission earnings to partners annually. It’s trusted by brands like Office Depot, GoPro, J.CREW, and many others.
7. Izea.com
Enrolling in the Izea affiliate program gives you access to do sponsored posts for various companies and brands. Izea provides a space where brands and content creators can connect. This provides paid opportunities for the content itself.
8. Media.net
Ad displays are one of the easiest and passive ways to make money on your blog. Media.net is a global advertising company that provides opportunities for bloggers to earn ad revenue on their sites. It takes 10 seconds to sign up. Very easy to enroll and start earning.
9. Awin.com
Another established affiliate program that has generated 147 million in revenue in 2019. Awin connects content creators with great affiliate opportunities with their partners. Some of the partners include Tidal, FabFitFun, Groupon, and many more.
10. Myfiance.com
This affiliate program is great for bloggers and influencers who have a focus on finance. Myfinance is the only ad platform that provides specific advertisements for financial products and services. Companies like Investopedia, CNN, and MoneyTalksNews trust Myfinance.
11. Skimlinks
This affiliate program allows you to convert commerce products into earnings when sharing with your audience. Similar to Amazon but you are not limited to Amazon listed products. So if there is a product you would like to share that may not have an affiliate program run it through Skimlinks to see if it can be converted.

Conclusion
There are so many ways to make money blogging it excites me. Knowing where and how to start can be stressful. Starting with affiliate income from some is the basics and for others, it’s their mainstream of blogging income. I am just getting my feet wet with affiliate programs and eventually will venture into offering my own products. For now, I think it’s a great place to start for monetization.
