Hello, beautiful people from across the lands! There are so many distractions that constantly demands our attention. Social media, news, tv, radio, text messages, notifications, emails, advertisements and the list could be an entire blog by itself. One of the most key important things while on this journey to debt freedom is to practice self-discipline. A lack of self-discipline or being conscious may play a contributing factor on why we’re on this journey in the first place. For me logging out has a played a substantial role and helping me focus and regroup. In this day and time, it may seem impossible to just log out and resist the urge to scroll mindlessly down your timeline, read through all nineteen notifications or get glued to some viral cat video (I’m guilty too).

Log Out

Life before Social Media

I can remember a time when social media and the internet did not take so much of my time. Where I could eat and not feel the impulsive urge to snap the perfect picture with the perfect caption to share what I’m eating. It sounds kind of ridiculous when you think about it. Think about how often we are just scrolling through life. The internet and social media have its place; look how it brought us together!

Follow One Course Until Successful

I will be the first to admit social media can slow me down and negate me from goals I want to accomplish. Challenge yourself to find ways to just log out not being slaved to the notifications. I spent my whole 2018 summer off social media. During that time the idea to start this blog began. There is something freeing in a sense of not keeping up with everyone’s life or figuring out how to best showcase yours. Going after this debt will take some serious action, focus, and grind to see it completely demolished. This mountain has got to move! So, take some time to just be present in the moment and not worry about who’s watching.

Until next time dream, believe and achieve.
